What’s a Bible verse encouraging you in this season?
Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This verse has been reminding me that I don’t have to understand every detail of what God is doing. My responsibility is to trust Him, acknowledge Him, and continue moving in obedience even when I cannot see the entire path yet. I am currently in a season where God is leading me by only showing my next step. His Word is truly a lamp unto my feet, keeping me straight on this path.
What is one thing you’re currently working on that you’re excited about?
I’m really excited about continuing to grow my faith-based content and Bible study community. I’ve been sharing more of my Bible study notes and creating content that makes studying Scripture feel approachable, practical, and applicable to everyday life. I’m excited to see how God continues to use it to encourage people in their own walks with Him.
What is God teaching you right now?
God is teaching me a lot about trust, patience, and obedience. I’m learning that sometimes obedience comes before clarity. I don’t always need to know exactly how everything is going to work out before I take the next step. He’s also teaching me not to measure progress solely by what I can see. Some seasons are about planting, preparing, and becoming the person God needs you to be before you see the fruit. It may be underground but when it does sprout and show, God will get the glory.

Meet Kim
Kim is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, mentor, doctoral student, and the founder of Believers in ABA.
At the heart of who Kim is, she is someone who genuinely loves God and loves people. Much of what she does naturally involves pouring into others—whether she is supporting children and families, supervising future behavior analysts, mentoring others through their professional journeys, or simply being a source of encouragement to the people around her.
Beyond her professional roles, Kim is thoughtful, reflective, compassionate, and purpose-driven. She can be social and outgoing, while equally appreciating the comfort of her own little corner. Her caring nature is reflected in the thoughtfulness and intention she brings to both her relationships and her work.

Kim is currently in a season of building and becoming. She is working toward completing her doctorate, continuing to develop Believers in ABA, growing more confident in what she brings to the table, and creating a life that feels meaningful, peaceful, stable, and aligned with God’s direction for her life.
She isn’t necessarily interested in being the loudest person in the room or having the biggest platform. For Kim, it is much more important that there is substance behind what she builds. Ultimately, she wants her faith, her work, the way she serves others, and the life she creates to mean something.

Isaiah 41 vs 9-10 - I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with My victorious right hand.
What is one thing you’re currently working on that you’re excited about?
I’m currently excited about continuing to grow Believers in ABA, a small passion project that allows me to combine my faith with my love for mentorship and supporting others in the ABA field. I’m still figuring out what it can become, but I’m enjoying building it little by little.
What is God teaching you right now?
I think God is teaching me to truly relinquish control and trust Him more deeply in seasons where I don’t have everything figured out—to give myself grace, remain present, and trust that He’ll provide direction as I go.

What’s a Bible verse encouraging you in this season?
Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This verse has been a constant reminder that even when I don’t understand the season I’m in, God already knows the plan. I’m learning to trust His timing, trust His direction, and have faith that what He has ahead of me is greater than anything I could plan for myself.
What is one thing you’re currently working on that you’re excited about?
I’m really excited about continuing to grow IvoryCo. and expanding our community mental wellness initiatives. One project that is especially close to my heart is our Mental Wellness Bag Giveaway, where we’re working toward providing 50 wellness bags to adults in the community. I’m excited to see how this small act of kindness can remind someone that they are seen, valued, and worthy of taking care of themselves.
What is God teaching you right now?
God is teaching me to slow down and trust Him. I’m learning that everything doesn’t have to happen on my timeline. Sometimes the pause is part of the preparation, and sometimes God is asking me to release control so He can lead me into something greater. This season has reminded me that rest is not the absence of purpose it can be part of the purpose.

What is God teaching you right now?
As of right now God is teaching me to trust in Him when I am in need. Often times I tend to trust my resources and status over Him and that's no bueno.
